Colleen of Exotic Design Studios has spent a lifetime experimenting with
multi-discipline Visual Arts techniques and has been able to combine several
disparate processes to create her own personal style.
She utilizes anything and everything she can in creating her unique
jewellery designs and delights in finding a new use for something old.
"I try never using anything for it original purpose" is one of Colleen's
favourite sayings. If Colleen can create something new out of the 'flotsam'
of the past she feels that it is never truly gone.
However Colleen can and will use traditional techniques where they can
achieve the best result for the design being made. She has created some of
the most truly fresh jewellery to come onto the market in recent years.
She delights in working with clients to create that 'special piece' of
jewellery for any occasion. Some of the recent projects have included;
Engagement rings in silver and gold; an 18ct gold pearl pendant and earring
set; Stunning one-off necklaces and other unique designs. Colleen using her
talents to create tomorrow's heirloom pieces.
